Cenker Ucan

Cenker Ucan has extensive work experience in finance, holding various high-level positions in reputable companies. Cenker is currently the VP of Finance at pladis Global since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Group CFO of Ulker (part of pladis Global) at Ulker, where they also acted as the regional CFO for Turkey, MENACA. During their time at Ulker, they successfully led acquisitions in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Dubai, Kazakhstan, and Turkey, and played a crucial role in the issuance of a USD 650 million Eurobond in 2020.

Before joining Ulker, Cenker Ucan worked at Yildiz Holding from 2010 to 2016, where they held the position of Food & Beverage Group CFO. Cenker was responsible for leading a team of 100 finance professionals and overseeing the financial operations of 12 companies within the group. Additionally, they were a Manager in the Group Financial Reporting Enhancement Project Team and actively participated in the IPO process of a group company.

Earlier in their career, Cenker Ucan worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers for several years, starting as an Associate in 2001 and eventually becoming a Senior Manager. Cenker performed audits for companies in various industries, coordinated multinational assignments, led due diligence projects, and conducted valuation studies.

Cenker Ucan completed their high school education at Cağaloğlu Anadolu Lisesi from 1989 to 1996. Cenker then pursued a bachelor's degree in Economics at Istanbul University from 1996 to 2001.
