Shamiran Paul

Shamiran Paul, CPA, has extensive experience in financial management and accounting, currently serving as Finance Manager and previously as Senior Accountant at Plan International Canada since January 2018. Responsibilities include preparing monthly and year-end IFRS financial accounts, managing significant grant revenues, and coordinating with external auditors. Prior positions include Accountant at Mozilla Foundation, General Accountant at The Hotel Saskatchewan, Financial Analyst at USAID, and Senior Manager-Accounts at BRAC. Shamiran holds a CMA from The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh and an M.Com in Accounting from Dhaka College, complemented by qualifications from ACCA and CPA Canada.
