Danien Theron

Danien Theron (Pfaff) is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Chief of Staff at Planet First Partners since October 2023, Danien previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at the same company from June 2021 to April 2023. Prior experience includes Senior Fund Officer Luxembourg at Oakley Capital, where responsibilities involved reviewing finance functions and investor communications, and Head of Finance at Oakley Capital Bermuda Limited, focusing on accounting for funds and special vehicle entities. Additional experience encompasses roles at KPMG as Audit Senior, South African Breweries as Financial Planner, and PwC as Auditor. Danien holds a Chartered Accountant designation from SAICA and a Chartered Professional Accountant credential from Bermuda, complemented by an Honours degree in Accounting from Stellenbosch University.
