Lauren R. Robbins has a diverse work experience starting from 2005 to present day. Lauren R. started their career as an Associate at Congressional Youth Leadership Council in 2005 and worked there until 2007. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Summer Associate at Arnold & Porter, later joining Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP as an Associate from 2011 to 2014. During this time, they primarily focused on regulatory and public policy issues in the healthcare sector and also had experience in pro bono work related to reproductive health and Title IX discrimination claims. Lauren R. also worked as a Judicial Law Clerk at District of Columbia Superior Court from 2010 to 2011. In 2013, they joined Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia as a Loaned Associate, where they represented low-income clients in court. Currently, since 2014, they are working at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, initially as a Policy Counsel and later as an Associate General Counsel. Their responsibilities included providing legislative and regulatory counsel, drafting model state-based policies, advising on administrative and compliance matters, and maintaining expertise in constitutional law issues affecting access to reproductive healthcare.

Lauren R. Robbins attended Brown University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree magna cum laude in Sociology. Lauren R. then pursued further education at the University of Pennsylvania, attending the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School from 2007 to 2010 and earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Additionally, from 2008 to 2010, Lauren also completed a Masters of Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
