Patricia Afonso has over 15 years of experience in the marketing and digital industry. Patricia began their career in 2005 as an International Account Executive at Ebiquity plc. Patricia then moved to Starcom MediaVest Group in 2007 as a Digital Media Manager. In 2010, they joined Last.fm as a Client Partner. In 2013, they became the Head of Sales & Brand Partnerships at Protein. In 2015, they were hired as the Brand Strategy Director at BuzzFeed. In 2018, they founded Afonso Consulting Ltd, a digital and brand marketing consultancy, and also became a self-employed traveller. In 2019, they were appointed Executive Director at Community Bridges, a non-profit enterprise tackling isolation and wellbeing issues. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Planty as the Chief Marketing Officer.
