Osvaldo A. Loera

Osvaldo A. Loera has a diverse work experience in the field of injection molding. Osvaldo A. began their career at EVCO Plastics in 2013, working as an Injection Molding Support. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Leader Molding Technician at Ingeniería Metálica y Plástica de México, S.A de C.V. In 2016, they joined Automotive Lighting as a Molding Technician and later advanced to the role of Jr Molding Engineer from 2017 to 2019.

In 2019, Loera joined Strattec Operaciones Mexicanas as a Sr. Injection Molding Process Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating production schedules during plant start-ups and mold changes, managing tandem mold processes, optimizing injection molding processes, and implementing mechanical and automation optimizations. Osvaldo A. also worked closely with the tool room to solve mold problems, validate new projects, and support molding plants in process issues and continuous improvement initiatives.

Most recently, in 2022, Loera joined Plastic Molding Technology as a Molding Engineer.

Osvaldo A. Loera began their education at the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez in 2016, where they pursued a degree in Ingeniería. Osvaldo A. then attended Moldeo por inyección de plásticos from 2015 to 2016, obtaining a degree in Tecnicatura in Ingeniería de polímeros/plásticos. In 2020, Osvaldo enrolled in UTEL Universidad, where they are currently pursuing a Grado en Ingeniería in Ingeniería industrial.

In addition to their formal education, Osvaldo has also obtained several certifications. In September 2020, they completed "Fundamentos de Six Sigma" from LinkedIn. In April 2019, they obtained a certification in "Major Kaizen" from Automotive Lighting, and in January 2019, they completed "World Class Manufacturing on Lean Manufacturing," also from Automotive Lighting. In June 2018, Osvaldo obtained a certification in "Liderazgo Facultativo" from Grupo Dextro. Furthermore, in August 2016, they obtained a certification in "Manejo seguro de grúas aéreas" from Vallen México.
