Charles Armstrong

Charles Armstrong has extensive work experience in the field of research and development. Charles is currently the VP of Research at Plastomics, Inc. since August 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Bayer Science Fellow at Bayer Crop Science from September 2018 to August 2021. Charles also worked at Monsanto as a Research Scientist from 1988 to September 2018. Before joining Monsanto, they worked as a Research Scientist at Agrigenetics from November 1985 to August 1988.

Charles Armstrong received their Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1977 to 1981. Charles then pursued higher education at the University of Minnesota from 1981 to 1985, where they earned both their Master of Science and PhD degrees in Plant Breeding and Genetics.
