Benjamin D. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of engineering and technology. Benjamin began their career in 1998 as a Fullstack Software Engineer at Applied Graphics Technologies. Benjamin then worked as a Software Engineer at Analysts International from 2001 to 2002. From 2003 to 2008, they progressed through several roles at 5LINX Enterprises, Inc., ultimately becoming the Director of Information Technology. At CaterTrax, Benjamin served as the Vice President of Software Development from 2008 to 2015. In this role, they built and led the engineering organization. Benjamin joined Datto, Inc. in 2015 as the Senior Director of Software Engineering, where they were responsible for building and developing the engineering capabilities of the organization. Benjamin later took on additional responsibilities for the company's Boston, MA office. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Opus as the Vice President of Software Development, and at Coupa Software as the Senior Director of Software Engineering. With Coupa Software, Benjamin was responsible for software engineering, deployment, and operational excellence of the Coupa Risk products. Starting in 2021, Benjamin joined Veritone as the Vice President of Engineering for aiWARE, an enterprise AI platform. Currently, as of 2023, Benjamin holds the position of Vice President of Engineering at Olly Olly.

Benjamin D. holds a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science from the University of West Georgia. Benjamin also obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Leadership from the Jack Welch Management Institute. Prior to these degrees, Benjamin completed their undergraduate studies at SUNY Brockport, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in History. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications, including "Management Skills for New Managers" from the American Management Association in March 2016, and "Certified ScrumMaster" and "Certified Scrum Developer" from the Scrum Alliance in September 2015 and August 2016, respectively.
