Chaïna Wade, PhD has a diverse work experience. Chaïna began their career in 2010 as an Associate Lecturer and Mentor/Coach at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, where they designed and taught undergraduate courses in-class and virtually, and mentored and coached students to successfully navigate college, develop communication skills, and launch a career. In 2011, they took a role as a Research Scientist at the Minnesota Department of Health. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Apple as a Data Scientist for the iPhone Product, and at PyLadies as Co-Founder and Mentor. In 2017, they began working at Facebook as a Data Scientist for Infrastructure. In 2018, they moved to Netflix as a Senior Analytics Engineer for Partner Experiences. Finally, in 2022, they began working at Plato as a Mentor for Engineering.

Chaïna Wade, PhD obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Natural Resources from the University of Minnesota in 2013. In 2014, they obtained a Data Science Specialization Series (9 courses) from Coursera, and a Machine Learning (Stanford University) certificate from Coursera.
