Dominique Simoneau-Ritchie has over 20 years of experience in the software engineering and development industry. In 2000, they began their career as a Web Developer and Technical Support Specialist at Zero-Knowledge Systems (now Radialpoint). Dominique then moved on to Cloudraker as a Software Developer in 2001, followed by Lockheed Martin Canada in 2003 and EnCentrus Systems in 2004. In 2005, they joined IBM, where they held various roles including Software Developer, Program Manager, Product Manager, Manager, and Coordinator of the Extreme Blue Program. From 2010 to 2019, they were a Senior Software Development Manager at QNX Software Systems, and in 2019, they became the Director of Engineering at Lever. In 2020, they became the Vice President of Engineering at Wealthsimple and a Mentor for Senior Engineering Leaders at Plato.

Dominique Simoneau-Ritchie attended CEGEP - John Abbott College from 1998 to 2002, earning their DEC in Computer Science. Dominique then attended Concordia University from 2002 to 2006, graduating with a BEng in Software Engineering. In March of 2011, they obtained a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
