Edmond Lau

Mentor, Engineering Leadership at Plato

Edmond Lau has a long history of work experience. In 2017, they founded Mossa Labs, where they served as Founder and CTO-as-a-Service. In 2018, they became a Mentor for Engineering Leadership at Plato. In 2020, they joined Key CTO as a Fractional CTO, and also served as an Advisor for Epilogg and Sumer Inc. In 2021, they became a Fractional CTO at NuBinary, and an Advisor for BuzzIt Inc. Edmond also served as VP Engineering at Dyspatch. Finally, in 2022, they joined Loot as a Fractional CTO.

Edmond Lau obtained a BSc from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2002, with Double Majors in Computer Science and Mathematics, and a Minor in Physics. In 2008, they became a Certified American Express Architect and a TOGAF 8 Certified IT Architect. In 2012, they obtained a certificate in EP245: How to Build a Startup from Udacity. In 2014, they obtained a certificate in Intro to the Design of Everyday Things from Udacity. In 2015, they obtained a Data Science Specialization certificate from Coursera.
