Jose Pettoruti

Jose Pettoruti has a long and varied work experience. Jose began their career in 2003 as the Founder and Producer of La Plata Nights. In 2004, they worked as a Technical Support Agent for Tiosil SRL and a Software Engineer/Systems Engineer for III-LIDI. From 2007 to 2012, they worked as a Teaching Assistant and E-Voting Consultant for UNLP-Universidad Nacional de La Plata. In 2012, they began working as a Lead DevOps & Solutions Architect and Systems Engineer for Surfdome.com. In 2016, they worked as the Head of Infrastructure for SurfStitch and the Head of Technology for Surfdome.com. In 2020, they worked as a Mentor for Engineering Leadership for Plato. Currently, they are the Senior Director of Engineering and Head of Engineering for Currencycloud at Visa.

Jose Pettoruti completed their Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology in 2019, majoring in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Jose previously obtained a BSc in Computer Science (Licenciado en Informatica) from Universidad Nacional de La Plata in 2012, as well as a Programming Analyst (Analista Programador Universitario) degree from the same institution in 2010. Jose Pettoruti also attended Colegio San Luis from 1998 to 2002. In addition, Jose Pettoruti holds certifications in Software Architecture: Domain-Driven Design from LinkedIn (obtained in 2021) and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (obtained in 2014).
