Marin Dimitrov

Marin Dimitrov has over 20 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Marin began their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at Sirma Solutions, where they were promoted to Development Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer. In 2001, they joined Ontotext AD as an Engineering Manager, where they were promoted to Head of Research and Development and Chief Technology Officer. In 2016, they moved to Uber as an Engineering Manager, and was later promoted to Senior Engineering Manager. In 2020, they joined Plato as a Mentor - Engineering Leadership. Most recently, in 2023, they joined Craft Docs as the Director of Engineering.

Marin Dimitrov obtained their Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in 2002. Marin has also obtained various certifications from LinkedIn and Harvard Business School Executive Education, including Executive Education at Uber (2020), De-Escalating Intense Situations (2019), Enhancing Resilience (2019), Developing Executive Presence (2019), Executive Leadership (2019), Influencing Others (2019), Leading with Vision (2019), Navigating Politics as a Senior Leader (2019), Organization Design (2019), Smarter Cities: Using Data to Drive Urban Innovation (2019), and Managing in Difficult Times (2018).
