Neela Deshpande

Neela Deshpande has over 10 years of experience in technical program management and operations. Neela began their career in 2010 as a Principal Technical Program Manager at Oracle. In 2012, they joined Dell Networking as a Sr. Manager, Technical Program Management and Chief of Staff - Networking Engineering. Here, they led a team of technical program managers and managed program portfolio and strategic and operational initiatives for the Networking BU. In 2016, Neela moved to VMware as an R&D Program Management Director and Chief of Staff - Cloud Management Business Unit. In 2019, they joined Business Wire - A Berkshire Hathaway Company as a Director, Technical Program Management. In 2021, they became a Technical Program Management at Meta. Currently, Neela is a Director of Technical Program Management & Strategic Engineering Operations at Boomi, an Engineering Leadership & TPM Mentor at Plato, and an Interview Coach and Program Management/Operations Consultant at Self.

Neela Deshpande has a diverse educational background. In 2017, they completed the Engineering Leadership Professional Program at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from Shivaji University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Strategic Planning Fundamentals from lynda.com in 2015, Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance, Dale Carnegie Course from Dale Carnegie Training, High Impact Presentations from Dale Carnegie Training, Leadership Training for Managers from Dale Carnegie Training, and PMI Certified Project Management Professional from PMI.
