Ryan Devera has worked for a variety of companies since 2007. From 2007 to 2012, they were an Assistant Store Manager and Retail Sales Consultant at AT&T. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Scientific Researcher at UCLA, where they worked on duplicate detection in a list of documents using a new version of the soft TF-IDF scheme and graph theory, as well as clustering methods in Big Data. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Data Scientist at both MD Insider and Benefitfocus. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Senior Data Scientist at KIXEYE. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Senior Data Scientist and Head of Data & Analytics at Hush, Inc. Currently, they are a Mentor in Engineering & Data at Plato.
Ryan Devera obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics and Mathematics (Double Major) from California State University, Northridge in 2011. 🧩 Ryan then continued their education at California State University, Long Beach, where they earned their Master of Science (M.S.) in Applied Mathematics in 2014.
