Scott Smith

Scott Smith has been working in the technology industry since 2000. Scott began their career at Front Porch, Inc. as a Software Engineer, eventually working their way up to Senior Director of Software Development and VP Engineering. In 2012, they founded and became the CEO of coderbits, a company that was eventually acquired by Appirio. In 2014, they worked as a Software Developer and Technical Writer at Algolia and as VP Engineering and Chief Technology Officer at Degreed. Scott most recently worked as an Engineering Leadership Mentor at Plato and is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Learn In.

Scott Smith obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University, Stanislaus in 2000. Additionally, in October 2017, they obtained a Degreed Level 7 certification in Node.js from Degreed.
