Algorithm Engineer at Quell

Scott Manning has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Scott started their career as an Environmental Engineering Intern at Water Decontamination Technologies Pty Ltd in December 2012. From March 2013 to September 2013, they worked as an Engineering Intern at the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute. In February 2014, Scott became a Graduate Environmental Engineer at Sydney Water, where they stayed until July 2015. Scott then transitioned to the role of Data Analyst at Sydney Water from August 2015 to August 2018. Scott joined the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in August 2018 as a Technical Officer and worked there until July 2022. Currently, they are working as an Algorithm Engineer at Quell since August 2022.

Scott Manning completed their Bachelor of Civil (Environmental) Engineering and Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Sydney, attending from 2009 to 2013. Scott then pursued a Master of Data Science, also at the University of Sydney, from 2016 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, Scott obtained several certifications including Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera in December 2017, Exploratory Data Analysis from Johns Hopkins University on Coursera in September 2015, R Programming from Johns Hopkins University on Coursera in July 2015, The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Johns Hopkins University on Coursera in May 2015, and Tackling the Challenges of Big Data from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in January 2015.
