Ujjwal Upadhyay

Ujjwal Upadhyay is the Operations Manager at PlayShifu. Ujjwal previously worked as the Operations Manager at Guarented from February 2019 to August 2019. Prior to that, they were the Founder of Om Nom Thai Food Truck from March 2017 to August 2018.

Ujjwal has always had a passion for food and travel. This led him to ideate and eventually start Om Nom Thai Food Truck, the first authentic Thai food truck in India. To make sure they provided only the best and most authentic Thai cuisine, they traveled to Thailand before starting the project to learn everything they could about the cuisine.

Ujjwal built a team of 5 employees and designed the truck and menu according to their findings in Thailand. Ujjwal selected vendors carefully to get the best ingredients and maintain a uniform inventory. Ujjwal also ran adverts on online platforms like Facebook and Instagram to market the truck.

Om Nom Thai Food Truck was a success, thanks in large part to Ujjwal's hard work. The truck was featured in prestigious media outlets like India Today (Nov 2017 edition) and received praises from numerous food bloggers through WordPress and Quora. It even achieved a 3.9-star rating on Zomato by ensuring quick delivery, hygiene, and standardized dishes.

Ujjwal Upadhyay completed a B.Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from GALGOTIA S COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY in GREATER NOIDA.

Their manager is Venkata Ramesh, Director, Operations. Some of their coworkers include Dhruvil Shah - Operations Associate, Chaitanya Thota - Operations, Global SC, and Golden Jha - Operations Analyst.
