Umang Parikh

Umang Parikh has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Most recently, they worked at Plexure as an Engineering Team Lead, overseeing the software engineering team. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at the same company.

Umang also served as an API Lead Engineer at Virgin Australia, where they played a key role in developing and maintaining APIs. Umang then joined Commonwealth Bank as a Senior Engineer, contributing to various engineering projects.

Earlier in their career, Umang worked as a System Architect and Senior Technical Lead at Helloworld Travel Limited, where they focused on designing and implementing system architecture. Umang also worked as a Software Engineer at Viocorp, where they were involved in the development and support of a video delivery platform.

Umang has experience as a Consultant/Tech Lead at LeapThought NZ Ltd, Intermediate Software Engineer at IAG New Zealand, and Software Engineer at Datacom. Umang began their career as a Software Developer at enableMe - Financial Personal Trainers.

Umang Parikh obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Software Engineering from The University of Auckland, which they completed from 2007 to 2010. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in October 2017, MS: Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions from Microsoft in December 2015, MCPD: Windows Azure Developer from Microsoft in July 2013, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in June 2012, and MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Data Access and MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Service Communication Applications from Microsoft in June 2012.
