Vince Kumar

Vince Kumar has been working in the tech industry since 2011. Vince started as a CIA at Geek Squad in 2011, then became a Cofounder/Solutions Engineer at The Virus Hunters in 2016. In 2017, they were a Data Science Fellow at Galvanize Inc and a Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist at Li & Fung Limited. In 2020, they became a CTO (Co-Founder) at a Stealth Startup, and in 2021 they became a Machine Learning Engineer at Plnar. At Li & Fung Limited, they developed and deployed computer vision algorithms, built and optimized ETL pipelines, set up an active learning pipeline, and developed a color categorization algorithm. Vince also worked as part of a remote team, delivering end to end solutions.

Vince Kumar obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin in 2017. Vince also attended Galvanize in San Francisco, SoMa in 2017 to pursue a field of study in Data Science.
