Rudra Sawant

Rudra Sawant has worked in the software engineering field since 2017. In 2017, they were an intern at Ajency.in and S.S. Services. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer at Persistent Systems, where they developed a machine learning model for query classifications using Python and Flask and worked on IBM products development in JAVA using Spring and Maven. During the same period, they were also a Teaching Assistant for the 'Machine Learning for Data Scientists' course at The University of Queensland, where they conducted practicals and tutorial sessions, helped students understand concepts, graded assessments and examinations. From 2021 to 2022, they were a Software Engineer at The University of Queensland, where they developed a dashboard using Vue.js and Django for making predictions and recommendations for ICUs. The dashboard included functionalities that could predict SOFA scores of patients, recommend treatments and also do a similarity search based on patients, diseases, symptoms and treatments. Rudra Sawant is currently a Software Engineer at Plotlogic.

Rudra Sawant has a diverse educational background. Rudra completed their SSC from Dnyanprassarak Vidyalaya in 2013, followed by their HSSC from Dempo Higher Secondary School of Science in 2015. Rudra then went on to obtain their Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Computer Science from Goa Engineering College - Government of Goa in 2019. In 2020, they began a Master of Computer Science (Management) at The University of Queensland, which they are currently completing. In addition to their educational qualifications, Rudra has obtained several certifications, including DevOps Foundations: Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration and Docker Essential Training: 1 Installation and Configuration from LinkedIn in 2022, AWS Technical Professional (Digital) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2019, Baseline: Data, ML, AI from Qwiklabs in 2019, and Certificate of Completion: Java Course from SoloLearn in 2016.
