Jonah D. Stepaniak

Jonah D. Stepaniak has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as a Laboratory Technician Co-op at Greater Cincinnati Water Works in 2015, where they tested water samples and ensured the smooth operation of the treatment plant.

Jonah D. then worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, conducting research on catalytic reduction of Nitric Oxides.

Following this, Jonah interned abroad at The HeroesToo Foundation in Hong Kong, where they contributed to environmental education initiatives.

In 2013, they joined Rumpke Waste & Recycling as a Sanitation Worker, demonstrating a strong work ethic and gaining experience in waste-to-energy technologies. Jonah D. later worked as an Engineering Co-op in the same company, updating regulatory documents and traveling to various locations.

At Bloom Energy, Jonah served as a Biogas Applications Engineer, leading testing of biogas on solid-oxide fuel cell systems and managing projects.

Jonah D. then joined Archaea Energy as a Gas Processing Engineer, working on biogas upgrading technology and commissioning a biogas plant in Eastern Kentucky.

Currently, Jonah is a Project Manager at Plug Power, overseeing the first commercial green hydrogen electrolyzer plant, where they manage budgets, schedules, resources, and quality control.

Jonah D. Stepaniak completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati between 2014 and 2019. Prior to that, they pursued a Post Secondary Enrollment Option at Miami University from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Jonah holds a certification in Commercial Driver's License Class B from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
