Zac Zachow

Zac Zachow has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Zac is currently working at Plug Power as a Product Development Lead, a role they assumed in August 2022. Prior to this, Zac worked at Siemens Energy from April 2019 to August 2022 as a System Engineer - Point on Wave Switching Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for the life-cycle management of Siemens Phase Synchronization Device (PSD), including system integration, programming, and troubleshooting after installation. Zac also promoted high voltage products, provided training for product lines, and supported technical aspects of products and applications. Before Siemens Energy, Zac worked at Siemens as a Supplier Quality Engineer from February 2017 to April 2019. Zac also gained experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at AZZ High Voltage Bus Systems in 2014. Zac's earliest work experience was at Andrew Jackson Council, where they held the position of Eagle Flight Director from July 2011 to July 2013. In this role, they developed and taught curriculum for various classes and managed a changing work environment.

Zac Zachow completed their high school education at Jackson Preparatory School from 2006 to 2012, earning a High School Diploma. Zac then attended Georgia Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2016, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, Zac is enrolled at Mississippi State University, where they are expected to complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from 2021 to 2023.
