John Martel

John Martel has a solid work experience in the field of recruitment. John currently holds the position of Principal Recruiter at Plume Design, Inc. Previously, they worked at Meta as a Recruiting Manager for their Machine Learning team, where they led two teams and various company-wide initiatives. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Recruiter for Machine Learning at Meta, contributing to team growth and diversity. Before joining Meta, John worked at Amazon as a Lead Technical Recruiter and Recruiter II, specializing in AI and technical roles. John also gained experience as a Technical Recruiter at Symbotic and held roles in account management and technical recruiting at Aerotek.

John Martel attended Penn State University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Labor Studies and Employment Relations.
