Yee Makowich

Yee Makowich has extensive experience in human resources and talent management. Yee currently holds the position of Senior Vice President Talent at Plus Company since April 2021. Previously, they served as the Vice President of Talent at Vision 7 Communication/ Cossette Communication from May 2018 to April 2021. Before that, they were the Director of Talent at Vision 7 Advertising/ Cossette Communications from September 2013 to May 2018. In this role, Yee was responsible for all aspects of HR, including employee relations, compensation, recruitment, and training. Yee also supervised the Office Services function.

Prior to their time at Vision 7, Yee worked as the Director HR and Strategic Planning at Nexus Staffing Inc. from February 2011 to September 2013. In this role, they acted as a strategic advisor and HR consultant, developed recruitment strategies, and launched a new permanent division that significantly increased revenue.

Yee began their career as a Human Resources Consultant at human resources development canada from 1999 to 2001.

Throughout their career, Yee has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to effectively manage and develop people strategies and initiatives.

Yee Makowich began their education in 1992 at the University of Toronto Mississauga, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Sociology. Yee attended the university for five years and successfully completed their studies in 1997. In 1998, Yee Makowich furthered their education at the University of New Brunswick, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Yee'sconcentration during this time was in the field of International Business. Yee Makowich completed their MBA studies in 1999.
