Jee Won Kang

Jee Won Kang has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. They are currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Pluto TV since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Capital One from February 2021 to September 2022, holding the position of Senior Software Engineer. They also worked as a Software Engineer from February 2020 to February 2021, and as an Associate Software Engineer from February 2019 to February 2020, both at Capital One.

Before joining Capital One, Jee Won Kang gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at DisputeSoft from January 2018 to January 2019. Their responsibilities included developing an in-house program using C# and performing code review and analysis in software litigation cases. They also worked as a freelance front-end web developer at POWER UP™ in January 2018, where they designed front-end templates for a web app using Django, HTML, and CSS.

Prior to entering the software engineering field, Jee Won Kang worked at Paradyme Management Inc. from January 2017 to September 2017. They served as a Team Lead, Scrum Master, and Corporate Technical Intern, contributing to the development of a Resume Parser and Skills Repository. Additionally, they played a key role in initiating web development projects using Django and led two intern teams.

During their undergraduate studies, Jee Won Kang worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from September 2016 to December 2016. They also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the Shackman Lab: An Affective & Translative Neuroscience Lab from September 2013 to August 2015. Their responsibilities included briefing and debriefing subjects for an anxiety study and conducting fMRI trials at the Mind-Body Medicine Summer Institute.
