Niko Janceski has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Niko currently holds the position of DevOps Manager at Pluto TV, where they are involved in migrating to Terraform managed infrastructure, managing Hashicorp Vault for secrets management, and overseeing MongoDB Atlas for cloud databases. Prior to this, Niko worked as a DevOps Engineer at Pluto TV and played a key role in the company's operations.

Before joining Pluto TV, Niko worked at Acoustic as a Site Reliability and Development Operations professional. During their time at Acoustic, they successfully led the migration from on-premise hosting to AWS (Amazon Web Services) and ensured minimal downtime during the transition. Niko also implemented cost-saving measures through the adoption of AWS managed technologies.

Earlier in their career, Niko spent a significant period at IBM, where they served as a System and Application Development Operations specialist. Niko was responsible for administering MongoDB clusters and hardware, optimizing data design and query logic for improved performance, and conducting complex data processing and aggregation using Python.

Niko also gained valuable experience at Experian Marketing Services, where they held positions as a Senior Software Application Support Team Lead and a Software Applications Engineer. In these roles, they focused on resolving client-facing issues, providing custom ETL services, and creating standard operating procedures for first-level support teams.

Prior to Experian, Niko worked at Misys as a Senior Software Release Engineer Team Lead. Niko excelled in designing and implementing a distributed build process using Perl, which significantly increased build speed, allowing for faster bug fixes and improved customer satisfaction.

Earlier in their career, Niko worked as a Software Release Engineer at Summit Systems, where they contributed to software release processes. Niko began their professional journey at Columbia University, where they served as a Teaching and Laboratory Assistant, Programmer. In this role, they assisted students, developed course materials, and created custom utilities to support assignments and grading.

Throughout their career, Niko has consistently showcased expertise in DevOps, migration projects, infrastructure management, cloud technologies, and data processing. Niko'sextensive experience in various roles and industries demonstrates their adaptability and commitment to delivering efficient and high-quality solutions.

Niko Janceski completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, where they attended from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their undergraduate education, Niko has obtained various certifications throughout their career. These certifications include:

- Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. obtained in March 2022.

- Planning and Designing Databases on AWS from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in November 2020.
