Senior Software Engineer at Pluto TV

Paakwesi Quansah has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering and instruction. Starting from 2017, they worked as an Instructor at iD Tech Camps, teaching coding languages such as C++, Java, and Python to high school students while facilitating teamwork among students. From 2018 to 2020, at Wellington Management, Paakwesi developed the backend infrastructure using Node.js and TypeScript, contributing to the development of JavaScript libraries and higher-order components for React applications. From 2020 to 2021, as a Software Engineer at Parallax Volatility Advisers, LP, they focused on developing applications for position tracking and trade, using a C# framework and creating modules to streamline the development process. In 2021, Paakwesi joined GoSite as a Full Stack Engineer, where they monitored and updated backend data and collaborated with the engineering team to improve system performance. Currently, they are working at Pluto TV as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for creating and maintaining an observability stack using technologies like Opentelemetry, Kubernetes, AWS, Golang, and Harness. They established a tracing pipeline that captures and visualizes trace events for microservices.

Paakwesi Quansah attended Syracuse University College of Engineering and Computer Science from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a Minor in Accounting. Paakwesi'sfield of study was Computer Science.

In addition to their degree, Paakwesi Quansah also holds a certification as an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner. Paakwesi obtained this certification in February 2021 from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
