Alexander Wong has a diverse professional background spanning from 2009 to present day. In 2009, they started their career as a Teacher at ICPNA - Instituto Cultural Peruano Norteamericano. In 2015, they joined Verizon as a Software Engineer I, where they created a testing dashboard for UI automation and deployed testing APIs with Nodejs and Express framework. In 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer III at Avantica and as a Volunteer at WarmiLab, where they taught introduction to coding to teenage girls. In 2018, they were hired as a Technical Lead at Scotiabank, where they designed the web architecture for supporting multiple SPAs and proposed JavaScript patterns. Currently, they are a Front End Lead at Plutora, where they are leading the engineering efforts for creating a design system built in React and modernizing the current front end stack.

Alexander Wong obtained a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in 2014. In 2017, they earned a Machine Learning certification from Coursera. Alexander also holds an Examination for the Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Michigan.
