Feifei Yang

Feifei Yang is an Assistant Research Professor at the UConn Eversource Energy Center and a Senior Data Scientist at Plymouth Rock Assurance, both positions held since May 2022. Feifei Yang specializes in machine learning-based models for weather-related outage predictions and auto insurance pricing. Previous experience includes roles at Citi as an AVP, where responsibilities involved model performance evaluation and COVID-19 analytics, and various positions at the University of Connecticut, focusing on predicting electric power outages and wildfire ignition using machine learning. Feifei Yang holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Engineering and a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
