Dan Salyan has over 30 years of work experience, with a diverse background in both private and military sectors. Dan began their career in 1988 with the US Navy, where they held various roles in intelligence and C4I requirements management. Dan also served as the Commander of OPNAV N6F2 from 2006 to 2008. In 2002, Salyan joined OPNAV N6 as the Deputy Chief of the Joint Ops-Intel Center, where they remained until 2006. In 2008, they transitioned to the private sector as the Director of Operations for Programs Management Analytics Technologies (PMAT) Inc.
Dan Salyan holds a Masters degree in Public Administration from Auburn University at Montgomery. Dan also completed their undergraduate studies at Virginia Military Institute, although the field of study for their degree is unknown.
