André Palma

André Palma has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. André is currently the Head of Operations at PNO since September 2023. Prior to that, they worked at HelloFresh from 2019 to 2023, holding various roles such as Head of Production, Production Manager, and Operational Excellence Engineer. At HelloFresh, André was responsible for leading large-scale improvement projects, implementing operational strategies, and promoting continuous improvement.

From 2017 to 2019, André worked at PALFINGER Group as a Supply Chain Manager and Operations Manager. André also gained experience at BARLOWORLD STET as a Product Manager and Project Engineer from 2014 to 2017. André started their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at Instituto Superior Técnico in 2013 and later undertook a Curricular Internship at TAP Portugal.

Lastly, André worked as a Fellow Researcher at Instituto Superior Técnico from 2010 to 2011, where they provided support to the Friction Stir Welding research group.

André Palma holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. André is also an alumni of Udemy, where they completed a course in Management, focusing on Business Administration and Management. At Coursera, André has taken a course in Business Administration and Management, and at edX, they completed a course in operations management. Additionally, André has obtained various certifications, including Supply Chain Excellence from Coursera, Lean Management and Manufacturing Specialist, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Specialist from Six Sigma Academy Amsterdam. André has also completed certifications in Manufacturing Operations, Continuous Improvement tools, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain metrics and KPIs, Introduction to Marketing, and Operations Management from Udemy and Coursera Course Certificates.
