Amy Sparent has a diverse work experience. Amy started their career as an Advancement Intern at the Battered Women's Shelter and The Rape Crisis Center of Summit and Medina Counties in 2020. In the same year, they also worked as a Community Technology Ambassador at PCs for People, where they provided phone and email support to clients and assisted them with accessing and maintaining technology.
In 2015, Amy worked as a Waitress at Oak & Embers Tavern, where they trained new hires and managed guest inquiries. Amy held this position until 2021.
Currently, Amy is working at Podium Education since 2021. Amy has held various roles such as the Academic Support Specialist, where they supported over 2,000 students by addressing their inquiries and concerns. Amy also currently serves as the Curriculum Support Coordinator, managing a large library of curriculum assets and leading a team of part-time HelpHub Specialists. Additionally, they are a Team Lead in the same company. Amy strategizes and executes data-driven onboarding and scheduling processes for HelpHub Specialists.
Amy Sparent attended John Carroll University from 2018 to 2022, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Marketing. In December 2021, they obtained a "Workplace Readiness" Certificate from the Boler Professional Development Program at John Carroll University. In October 2022, Amy completed a course on "Designing Digital Assistants: The Big Picture" through Pluralsight. Amy also obtained a certification as a JavaScript Specialist from Florida Atlantic University in December 2022. Additionally, Amy received a SQL Specialist certification from Jacksonville University in March 2023.
