Gayatri Majumdar

Gayatri Majumdar is an accomplished writer, editor, and publisher with extensive experience in the literary and publishing sectors. Since January 1995, Gayatri has been associated with Brown Critique/Pondicherry Poets, contributing significantly as a writer, editor, and publisher. Notable works include "I Know You Are Here" and the novel "A Song for Bela," both currently available. Gayatri has also co-curated the Pondicherry-Auroville Poetry/Music Festival through The Brown Critique from December 2018 to September 2021. Previous roles include Senior Manager at SPi Technologies, Editorial Services Manager at Cenveo Publisher Services, and Manager at MPS Ltd, among others. Gayatri's educational background includes a Post Graduate degree in Journalism from the Xavier Institute of Communications and a Post Graduation in Political Science (Honours) from St Xavier's College, Calcutta University.
