Owen Hnath has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering industry since 2007. Owen began their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Los Alamos National Laboratory, followed by a Design Engineer role at Spectral Systems. In 2010, they took on a Mechanical Engineering Consultant role at Coherent Navigation. In 2011, they became a Development Engineer at 3R Automotive, and in 2012 they took on a Lead Mechanical Engineer role at Fighting Walrus LLC. In 2016, they returned to Point One Navigation as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and R&D Engineer, and in 2019 they became a Senior Mechanical R/D Engineer at Medtronic. Most recently, in 2021, they returned to Point One Navigation as Manufacturing Lead.
Owen Hnath obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder between 2002 and 2008. Owen then went on to earn a Masters of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University from 2009 to 2010. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including Linux: Bash Shell and Scripts (December 2016), Excel VBA: Managing Files and Data (October 2016), Git Essential Training (October 2016), Microsoft® Project 2010 Essential Training (October 2016), Process Modeling in Excel Using VBA (October 2016), and Up and Running with VBA in Excel (October 2016).
