Marcia Philosophos

Marcia Philosophos has over 17 years of experience in education, sales and marketing, and event coordination. In 2020, they became the Chief Development Officer and Director of Sales & Marketing at Pointful Education, a company that seeks to bridge the skills gap earlier in a student’s life. In 2021, they became the Owner of Philo Solutions, LLC. From 2016 to 2021, they were an Account Executive at Apex Learning. From 2013 to 2016, they were an Account Manager & eSolutions Specialist at FlexPoint (formerly FLVS Global). From 2008 to 2013, they were an Online Math Instructor (Secondary) at Florida Virtual School. From 2007 to 2008, they were a Math Teacher (Secondary) at Duval County Public Schools. From 2004 to 2007, they were a Promotions and Event Coordinator at iHeartMedia (formerly Clear Channel Communications).

Marcia Philosophos completed their high school education at Flagler Palm Coast High School, graduating with an Honors High School Diploma in 2004. Marcia then attended Daytona State College, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree. In 2007, they graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Management.
