Karl Kessenich has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries and roles. Karl began their career at Veda Incorporated, where they provided management and engineering services for the Department of Navy. Karl then moved on to Comsearch, where they served in a corporate and business development capacity and helped improve profitability and turnaround the business.
In 1999, Kessenich founded NetGuilds, a start-up business that developed online benchmarking and decision-support software. Karl led the company through changes in product offerings and target customers.
Kessenich then joined Andrew Corporation in 2003 as the Director of U.S. E911 Programs. Karl managed E911 deployment and support contracts for AT&T and other wireless carriers.
In 2007, Andrew Corporation was acquired by CommScope, and Kessenich continued to lead the wireless location business as the Senior Director of Location Products until 2014.
From 2014 to 2015, Kessenich provided business development and product management services for Echo Ridge, a government engineering firm. Karl defined and initiated a product management process for a virtual RF environment testing platform and explored partnership opportunities for wireless location technology.
Since 2015, Kessenich has been working at Polaris Wireless as the Executive Director of Business Development. Karl has been responsible for leading business development and global partnerships for wireless location solutions serving public safety, government, and commercial markets. Karl has successfully created and cultivated strategic partnerships with various companies and organizations, both domestically and internationally.
Karl Kessenich pursued their education at Georgetown University from 1991 to 1993 and earned a Master's degree in National Security Studies. Prior to that, they attended the University of Virginia from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering.
