Principal Engineer - Body & Comfort Electronics at Polestar

Oliver G. has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering field. Oliver started their career as a Summer Intern in Hydrogen Fuel-Cell Research at Daimler AG in 2012, where they worked on optimizing design concepts for the fuel-cell tank system. Oliver then moved on to Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains in 2013, where their roles included assembling Formula 1 race pool units and designing motor dyno rigs. In 2014, Oliver was an Electronic Engineer at DUEM, contributing to the World Solar Challenge and working on hardware design. Oliver received the Engineering Leadership Advanced Award from The Royal Academy of Engineering from 2014 to 2016. From 2016 to 2019, they joined Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd as an Electrical Engineer, leading electrical integration projects for special vehicles and the James Bond movies. Currently, they are a Principal Engineer at Polestar, specializing in Body & Comfort Electronics.

Oliver G. attended John F. Kennedy School Berlin from 1997 to 2011, where they obtained a U.S. High School Diploma + Advanced Placement Exams. Oliver then pursued a degree in General Engineering, specializing in Electronic Engineering, from Durham University from 2011 to 2016, where they earned an MEng.
