Steve Swift

Steve Swift has an extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Steve started their career at Lotus Engineering in 1988, where they served as the Head of Vehicle Engineering for 18 years. In 2006, they joined Multimatic as an Engineering Director and stayed there until 2015. During this time, they were responsible for various engineering projects. In 2015, Steve Swift joined Halberd Engineering as a Director, focusing on contract and engineering consultancy work in the automotive sector. Steve also had a keen interest in Bicycle Technology development. In 2015, they transitioned to Emerald Automotive (a Geely Group company) as the Head of Vehicle Development. In 2018, they were promoted to the role of Director - Vehicle Engineering. Steve then moved to Polestar in 2019, where they currently hold the position of Director of Vehicle Engineering.

Steve Swift attended the University of Nottingham from 1980 to 1983, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Steve also studied at the Henley Business School from 1995 to 1997, earning an MBA degree.
