Alain Nunez

Alain Nunez is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and budget management. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Accounting for the Polk County School Board since September 2022, Alain previously held roles including Senior Budget and Management Analyst and Budget Analyst at Polk County BoCC from December 2020 to September 2022. Alain's earlier tenure at the Polk County School Board spanned from August 2007 to December 2020, where various positions included Budget Coordinator and Budgetary Technician. Alain's career began at Velda Farms Dairy as a Shipping Clerk and at Costco Wholesale as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. With a Bachelor of Science in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from Keiser University and an Associate of Arts from Miami Dade College, Alain possesses a solid educational foundation supporting a diverse professional background.
