Henok Getachew

Henok Getachew has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Henok started their career as a Management Trainee for Loan Officer Position at the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia in 2002. Henok then worked as a Marketing Officer at Ethiopian Airlines from 2002 to 2007. After that, they served as a Territory Sales Manager at Total Ethiopia S.Co from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they worked as a General Manager at Blessgate Multi-Solutions PLC from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, they became the Chief Executive Officer of PACKTRA FORWARDING CO., where they successfully led the company's restructuring process. Later that year, they joined Population Services International as an Associate Director, focusing on WASH Business Development. In 2022, they took on the role of Sales Lead at Saros Inc, leading sales and marketing activities in the DMV area for the AT&T Telecom sales and marketing wing. Currently, they are working as a Game Dealer at MGM National Harbor since 2023.

Henok Getachew completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and Public Administration from Addis Ababa University from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended Chercher Comprehensive Highschool from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Management with a focus on the Management Business stream. Henok is currently a first-year MBA student at Ashland University in collaboration with Lead Star Academy of Ethiopia, specializing in Business. Henok also has a certification in Marketing and eMarketing from Eliademy.
