Ricki Orford

As Director of the Malaria, Child Survival and Sanitation department at PSI, Ricki oversees and supports the implementation of programs across Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Ricki has over 19 years of experience in the design and implementation of public health programs with PSI and the World Health Organization. While he began his career in emergency and epidemic management in Africa, he has spent much of his later career rolling out malaria prevention and treatment programs with a special focus on the private sector. Today, Ricki provides technical oversight of PSI’s integrated child survival programming and WASH portfolio, with a focal point on sanitation. Ricki is a former member of the Global Fund Technical Review Panel and a number of global technical working groups.

Ricki has a master’s in international health from the Pannum Institute at the University of Copenhagen.
