Anita van der Laan

Anita van der Laan has extensive experience in the maritime and logistics sectors, currently serving as Program Manager Shippers & Forwarders at the Port of Rotterdam since January 2004. Prior roles include Sr. Business Manager and Manager of the Asia Desk, where responsibilities encompassed institutional and business relations along with regional marketing in North and Southeast Asia. Additionally, Anita led a team as Manager of Marketing Communication, overseeing the marketing communication strategy. Previous experience includes managing marketing services at the Port of Rotterdam Authority and project management at China Hong Kong Development/Citic Europe. Anita holds a Master's degree in Sinology from Leiden University and a Bachelor's degree in Chinese, English, and Economics from the Academy for Interpretation & Translation.
