Vy Nguyen

Vy Nguyen is an experienced strategic advisor and policy analyst currently serving at the Port of Seattle since March 2022. Prior roles include Early Learning Policy Lead at Children's Alliance, where support was provided during the 2022 legislative session, and Senior Policy Advisor for Seattle City Council under Council President M. Lorena González from April 2017 to December 2021. Responsibilities included legislation development for small business support and tenant protections, as well as crisis communications during significant events. Additional experience includes positions at OneAmerica focusing on immigrant integration and early learning, the White Center Community Development Association managing neighborhood revitalization, and various roles throughout the University of Washington where Nguyens contributed to policy research and community engagement. Vy Nguyen holds a Master's in Policy Studies and a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Washington.
