Celestina Zamora currently serves as a New Restaurant Opening Team Trainer and Crew Chief at Portillo's since September 2023. Previously, Celestina held the position of Hospitality Intern at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company from May to August 2023 and worked as a Barista at Starbucks from August 2020 to June 2023. Experience at Mendocino Farms as a Hospitality Team Member from May 2022 to March 2023 involved cross-training in various roles, including guest interaction and order preparation. Earlier experience includes serving as a Server at Cracker Barrel from June 2019 to March 2020, where Celestina honed skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of North Texas, anticipated completion in December 2023, and a high school diploma from Dr. Ralph H. Poteet High School (June 2021).

Hot dog! Since 1963, Portillo’s has been serving unrivaled Chicago street food in nostalgic themed restaurants. Get your buns ready for some delicious food! In 1963, Dick Portillo and his wife Sharon invested their life savings of $1,100 into a hot dog stand called “The Dog House” in Villa Park, IL. The Dog House didn’t have running water or a bathroom. Dick had to run garden hoses from a local business to get the water he needed. The menu was simple – hot dogs, tamales, fries and a coke, all for under 35 cents. Through Dick’s hard work and determination, the Dog House evolved into Portillo’s and has become what it is today. Come and enjoy our legendary food served by the friendliest people in the business.
