Amanda Janczak

Amanda Janczak has a diverse range of work experience in the field of communications and public relations. Amanda currently works as a Basketball Communications Coordinator for the Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Quarter, a position they started in October 2022. Prior to this, Amanda worked for Spurs Sports & Entertainment from 2019 to 2022, where they held various roles such as Austin Spurs Communications Senior Coordinator and Austin Spurs Communications, Social Media & Community Responsibility Coordinator. In 2019, Amanda also served as the Public Relations & Communications Director for the San Diego Strike Force. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as the Public Relations & Community Engagement Manager for the Delaware Blue Coats. Amanda gained valuable experience during their internships, including working as an Austin Spurs Media Relations Intern and a Public Relations Intern for Steve LeVine Entertainment & Public Relations. Amanda has also worked with notable organizations such as the National Football League (NFL) and the Arizona Diamondbacks. In 2015, Amanda contributed to the Super Bowl XLIX Social Media Command Center as an assistant. Amanda began their professional journey in 2014, interning with the Harlem Globetrotters and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Amanda also worked as a Public Relations Specialist at the Cronkite Public Relations Lab while studying at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Amanda'sextensive work experience showcases their expertise in communication, media relations, and community engagement.
