Guo Deng

Guo Deng has worked in the software quality assurance field since 2016. In 2016, they began their career at CyberClan as a Technical Lead, where they developed SQA plans and executed SQA key activities. In 2020, they joined Portnox as the Director of Software Quality Assurance. In this role, they were responsible for the entire AGILE QA organization, which included onsite/offsite test managers and leads, quality analysts, SDETs, and related support staff. Guo was also responsible for all people management functions related to the team, such as hiring, interviewing, mentoring, engagement, retention, and performance evaluation. Theirwork was related to the company's award-winning line of software products enjoyed by over 20 million users in 49 countries.

Guo Deng attended Simon Fraser University from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Master of Computer Information Technology from the Department of Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Peking University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Information Management from the Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance program.
