James Chan has over 25 years of work experience. James began their career in 1994 as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs. In 1996, they moved to the RAND Corporation as an Infrastructure Analyst. In 1997, they were promoted to Senior Data Analyst at McKinsey & Company. In 2001, they transitioned to the food industry, taking on the role of Corporate Executive Chef at Straits and Sino Restaurants. In 2003, they were promoted to Executive Chef at Flying Food Group. In 2006, they joined Boudin as Executive Chef. In 2013, they began working at Stick A Fork In It Productions as Chief Everything Officer and at EAT Club as Product Development & Food Innovation. In 2016, they were promoted to Chief Operating Officer at DOSA INC. In 2017, they co-founded Positive Food Co and assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer.
James Chan began their educational journey in 1987, when they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. James then continued their education at the University of Chicago, where they earned a Master of Science in Mathematics in 1994.
