Karl-Aksel Puulmann

Karl-Aksel Puulmann is a software engineer who currently works at PostHog. Karl-Aksel has previously worked at eAgronom, where they served as the CTO. Their responsibilities at eAgronom included introducing and maintaining best practices, test coverage in the company's rails monolith, creating processes and metrics to drive teams' decision-making and productivity, planning product and technical improvements, organizing internal developer meetings, mentoring engineers and engineering managers, giving talks at local developer events, and making sure the application did not burn down. Karl-Aksel also led a small team responsible for day-to-day farm operations, taking lead in the development of an offline-first mobile app used by hundreds of farmers daily to manage their fields, work and harvesting.

Karl-Aksel Puulmann studied computer science at the University of Tartu and Nõo Reaalgümnaasium.
