Amy Gutierrez

Amy Gutierrez, PharmD, CPEL, has held various leadership positions in the healthcare and pharmaceutical field. Amy started their career in 2005 as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California and has since held roles such as Chief Pharmacy Officer at UCHealth. Their experience includes serving as a board member at USC School of Pharmacy and as President of the California Board of Pharmacy. Dr. Gutierrez also worked as the Chief Pharmacy Officer at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, overseeing a large budget and volume of prescriptions. Amy continues to contribute to academia as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Colorado.

Amy Gutierrez earned their Pharm.D. from the University of Southern California, School of Pharmacy. Amy also completed the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2018-2019. In addition, Amy is a HealthCare Leadership Fellow from the California Healthcare Foundation and holds a Certificate in Pharmacy Leadership from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. Amy also obtained a Leadership Certificate from California State University, Long Beach, and Los Angeles County Training Academy. Amy is a Certified Pharmacy Executive Leader (CPEL) from ASHP and holds a certification in Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery from the American Pharmacists Association.
